The HP SpaceExplorer is a comfortable and intuitive controller for engineering and design professionals working a 3D space. Speed up your workflow and cut mouse clicks with this intuitive push/tilt/twist controller with 15 programmable buttons.
Push, pull, tilt or twist the SpaceExplorer's controller cap to simultaneously pan, zoom and rotate 3D objects and environments. Using SpaceExplorer together with a mouse engages both your hands in a natural, intuitive work style. One hand drives the SpaceExplorer, positioning your model, then rotating, panning and zooming in one single, fluid motion. Your mouse hand can simultaneously edit the model or select menu items.
Fifteen easy-to-reach programmable function keys provide no-look and immediate access to application menus and windows - you can program your own preferences but they are also pre-programmed with commands for leading design applications.
Adaptive sensing technology gives you the functionality you want, the instant you want it. Commands become available on the SpaceExplorer's LCD and dynamically update when you switch applications or work modes within an application. Plus, an array of extendable, programmable speed keys-including Control, Fit and Modifier (Esc, Shift, Ctrl and Alt) and View-help you stay immersed in your design.
It has an ambidextrous ergonomic design that features a coated, sculpted palm rest that positions your hand comfortably and allows you to easily reach the controller cap and programmable keys without taking your hand off the controller-while reducing hand stress associated with the repetitiveness of 3D design.
